The Greatest Generation

When Voyager picks up snatches of a reply from the A Quad, Captain Janeway is willing to trespass to download the rest of the message. But when Seven and Tuvok get claimed as relics, Janeway joins the Hirogens in being helmet-painting pissed. Why does Echo Park Lake run thick in the summer? Would any amount of signage be sufficient for your typical package-delivery person? What’s The Greatest Gen promise w/r/t technobabble? It’s the episode with a gift from the estate of Judith B. Raskin!

When Seven finds a way to communicate with the Alpha Quadrant, Doc Holoday gets tapped to become Voyager’s message in a bottle. But a stormy trip to the U.S.S. Prometheus reveals just how far he’s come w/r/t his program. Does Chakotay have a thing for powerful women? Do Romulans look good with a widow’s peak? Who was the inspiration for the Doc’s additions? It’s the episode that stans a legend!

When the crew of Voyager starts dreaming about the same person, they must figure out if they’re under attack or just overslept. But when the man of their dreams becomes the monster of their nightmares, they’ll have to fight back in both the dream world and the real world. What color is your alert? Is there a limit to how long a person can hold out before cohabitating? How dangerous are the consequences of pre-celebration? It’s the episode that falls into the “dump” category or the “class” category!

When Neelix dies in the cold open and comes back to face life after no afterlife, a dubious trip with Chakotay only pushes him closer to the ledge. But when looking inside himself isn’t the answer, a more holistic approach helps him see his value through the eyes of Voyager’s crew. How far west will Trethewey travel? Do you wait a day before replicating memorial flowers? Is Neelix the one who’s guilty of Hollywood bullshit? It’s the episode that knows what it has to do.

When the Voyager gets jacked, Leonardo DaVinci gets snatched like a chain, along with the ship’s computer core. But when they arrive at Planet SoCal, they get extremely confused about what their priorities should be in recovering their stuff. Why don’t more aliens look like members of Slipknot? How much was the talc budget for LDV on this episode? Where does Tau keep his genitals? It’s the episode that wants to take to the sky, but can’t get its mind out of the gutter.

When someone bumps into BLT while she’s out shopping, it causes a surprisingly fraught diplomatic incident. But when the punishment for her thoughts does not fit the crime, Tuvok will have to get to the lobotom of her case before it’s too late. Have we done enough to honor emotional first responders? What does Neelix do about his urges? Did you forget about the tough buds? It’s the episode that’s spoken almost entirely in entendre!

When Captain Janeway decides to ditch the nebula and try her luck in open space, she defies the Doc and endangers herself one too many times. But while Chakotay downgrades to season-one status, Paris saves the two-parter by sending Janeway what she needs to finally go down with the ship. What type of role play is Kevin into? What would Taffer find in Annorax’ walk-in? Why isn’t the year of hell an actual year? It’s the episode with tiki quantity and quality!

When some Ring Pop enthusiasts start rewriting history, their device creates some serious turbulence for Voyager. But when the shockwave pushes the crew into a new reality, they'll risk everything to learn how the time weapon can be defended against. How many centuries would it be appropriate to put up with the job title “Lackey” before you ask for a promotion? Why don’t they use porcelain in starship construction? Why are they called the Zahl? It’s the episode where we’ve synchronized our sewer problems.

When invisible aliens board Voyager and begin their secret experiments on the crew, the symptoms are all over the place. But once Captain Janeway discovers the intruders’ awful plans, she gambles with their lives in a high stakes game that she’s never lost. Who’s really suffering here? How sturdy do you need an elastic waist band to be? Are they horny, or is it aliens? It’s the episode that’s all jack off machines and skeletons!

When Seven picks up a re-Borgifying signal, her escape from Voyager puts her in dangerous territory w/r/t the B’omar Sovereignty. But when the flashbacks lead to USS The Raven, uncovering memories of her family’s assimilation puts her back on track towards humanity. What kind of voicemail greeting would a bird specialist have? Who invented the hypoSpray? Is there a toilet in Seven’s alcove? It’s the episode with an unnecessary article in its name!
