Happy New Year from the Grove Podcast! We are kicking it off with a 3-part series called Table Talks: Live from Passion 2021. As you may know, the Grove is a ministry of Passion City Church which was birthed out of the Passion Conference - a movement for 18-25 year olds who want to leverage their whole lives for Jesus. Since 1997, Passion Conference has gathered in arenas, fields, and stadiums with tens of thousands of young people. This year, we rang in 2021 at Passion with a virtual gathering that was able to host over 700,000 people worldwide! Many guests joined to encourage us around God’s Word and lead us in worship, and you can still catch it all on YouTube at the Passion Conferences channel. Some highlights were short round-table conversations facilitated by Shelley Giglio. Today’s episode is the first chat she had with Levi Lusko, Jackie Hill Perry, Ben Stuart, and Christian Huff as they come around how the Gospel transformed their lives and what that means for their present and future. Today we’ve got a really sweet and timely encouragement from one of our best Grove Gals--Katherine Wolf.  Katherine and her husband Jay have an incredible ministry called Hope Heals where they have taken their pain and turned it into a platform to speak to God’s faithfulness and sufficiency. Katherine and Jay had their lives turned upside down when Katherine suffered from a major brain stem stroke in 2008, shortly after giving birth to their first son. In the years since, she has been through countless therapies and procedures, and while she still has many physical struggles, she and Jay and their family are committed to the mantra “hope while you cope” and have generously given their lives to spread that message. Today she’s sharing about how we choose to trust God in the face of the fear of the unknown and there's probably no one more equipped to do so.
