Just me this time, chatting shit about how the level of patience that I'm beginning to need is getting beyond how much patience I have and what I'm doing to combat this.
I give details on a technique that I've been using throughout the year to remain as positive as possible despite constant obstacles but also speak about the dangers of JUST being positive.
Finally I round things off with an exercise I think everything could benefit from as I encourage you to dive into all the emotions that you're feeling.

Ever done something to someone that you REALLY shouldn’t have done?
The sort of thing that’s left whoever you've done it to livid and left you feeling like your stomach has exited your arsehole and is plummeting towards the centre of the earth.
Come on then? Which of you bastards has done this?
Raise your hands.
Yep, me too.
I’ve been an utter bastard and done things that I didn’t even think I was capable of but I had a really good excuse for doing it all.
I’m human.

Eye-opening and incredibly interesting chat with Anissa who speaks candidly about how name calling and insults led her to becoming anorexic to the point where she couldn't even walk between rooms without getting faint.
We dive into her experiences of anti-depressants which she found relatively unsuccessful for her in the long term and also CBT which was what really taught her to become the one in charge of her mental health.
Lockdown was a tough experience for her but through the support of her friends, family and most importantly her cat she was able to use the skills she'd learnt through having CBT to get through it and be stronger for the experience.

More or less everything we do in our lives is out of habit.
We've learned to do all the different aspects of life in different ways from how we walk, how we talk, how we let others treat us and so many more things.
Many of these things are inconsequential but a great number of them are actually harmful - this mini-pod dives into this and what we can do to break the habits.

Chatting with my friend Caleb about his mental health experiences growing up gave a great insight into how easily people can fall into the "wrong" treatments for them.
After an initial misdiagnosis of ADHD, Caleb was given treatment and medication which actually made things worse. After countless doctors appointments and the support of his amazing mother he was able to get the 1-on-1 therapy that he actually needed to empower him to be in control of his own mental health.
