Colin is joined by Nick Wright, host of “First Things First” on FS1 for part 2!

They begin with the Bengals, and why they are one more Joe Burrow injury away from needing to draft an early round quarterback as an insurance policy (3:00). They explain why the Falcons weren’t crazy to draft Michael Penix and why Kirk Cousins isn’t good enough to complain about the move (7:00)

They debate whether the Giselle jokes from The Roast of Tom Brady crossed a line and why the roast made them both uncomfortable (9:00) Nick shares a story of the time when he participated in a roast… and it backfired spectacularly (14:30)

Finally, they push back on Austin Rivers’ comment that 30 NBA players could play in the NFL (21:30) and they list the much shorter list of players that actually could make the jump to football (25:00)

Colin is joined by Nick Wright, host of “First Things First” on FS1!

They start by addressing the backlash to Colin’s  “backwards hat” take from J.J. Reddick and LeBron James (3:00). They talk about the history of the take and why it’s become a running bit, and why it shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

Then they address bad takes, and why “cancel culture” isn’t coming for comedians the way it did a few years ago (12:30), why Jerry Seinfeld’s comments were tone deaf, and they debate how it’s affecting the current era of comedy (19:00).

Finally, Colin explains why Caitlin Clark doesn’t need the media to protect her (27:30) and why the WNBA will finally “arrive” into more mainstream sports culture (34:00)

Don’t forget to check back for part two of the conversation with Nick!

Colin points out Luka Doncic's ball-dominant style is not sustainable for an extended playoff run as the Mavericks were dominated by the Thunder in game 1 of their second round series. He questions Jayson Tatum as a true Alpha for the Celtics as they continue to win in the postseason but Tatum remains their 3rd leading scorer. Plus, Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch joins the show to explain how he changed the culture in Minnesota from a perpetual lottery team to title contender
