John explains why he’s ready to unequivocally call Trey Lance a bust, what he and Zach Wilson have in common, why he thinks Russell Wilson will continue to decline despite Sean Payton’s coaching, why he’s more optimistic than most about Jordan Love’s chance to succeed with the Packers, and why NFL front offices are combing through film of every meaningless preseason snap. Then, The Herd co-host - and host of the Straight Fire - Jason McIntyre joins Colin to discuss how the Dalvin Cook signing impacts the Jets offense, why it’s so important the Jets get off to a good start to the season, if the Niners should go with Sam Darnold over Trey Lance as their backup, which team could Jim Harbaugh could target for an NFL return, if the Packers believe in Jordan Love, and how the drama between James Harden and Sixers President Daryl Morey will play out.
