Houndsman XP welcomes Mr. Van Johnson of Cortez, Colorado.  Van, who served as a USDA-certified wildlife specialist, chats with Chris and Steve about his life’s journey as both houndsman and professional guide that spanned more than sixty years.  He was an outfitter for forty years of that time.  Van Johnson has written a book titled The Houndsman, the story of his life of professional outfitting, guiding, doing large carnivore management in the West for the State of Colorado and of the friends he met along the way.
