Kyla wraps up our four-part series sharing details for the Phase 4 of the menstrual cycle, also known as the menstrual phase or winter phase. This occurs after the luteal phase when progesterone levels drop, signaling the shedding of the uterine lining. It's important to prioritize self-care, manage pain with heating pads, eat nourishing foods, stay hydrated, and engage in gentle exercise like yoga or walking. Tracking the cycle is key for symptom management.
Kyla explains Phase 3 of the menstrual cycle, known as the luteal phase or the fall phase. The phase is divided into two parts: the first week with high energy and the second with a gradual decline. Understanding one's cycle can help with scheduling activities and self-care, especially for managing emotional fluctuations.
