Ryan Bassham is an extremely accomplished hunter, who has taken trophies on nearly every continent. He has also worked in the outdoor industry as a hunting and marketing consultant, among other things. In this episode, Ryan and I talk about hunting around the world and what kind of cool adventures are still out there to be had... BUT they aren't getting any cheaper and you aint getting any younger, so seize the day! We also get into a great spiritual discussion towards the end. Chiam Loyd is a talented and tough young up and comer. He joined myself, Lampers, Mark Livesay, and Brad on this last bear hunt. It was his first ten day hunt / film. in this episode I get the full story on his first ten day backcountry hunt and how he almost passed out from lack of propper calorie intake, among other things... one thing about Chiam though, there is no quit in this guy! It's a great conversation, enjoy.

Brandon Waddell is the man behind Mountain Archery Fest, an epic outdoor 3D archery shoot with events across the country and a family-friendly atmosphere.

But there is much more to Brandon than MAF. At one time, Brandon was facing a 9 year prison sentence. But after cleaning his up act with God's help, Brandon has become a successful business owner and family man. Archery and Bowhunting also played a huge role in that which brought our discussion full circle back to MAF. It is a great episode, enjoy!

In this, the second part of our Idaho Bear hunt recap, me and Mark tell the slightly painful tale of how a huge chocolate bear I spotted and named Meatball gave us the slip after waiting for a shot for over 5 hours! Dennis and Joe, friends and founders of Initial Ascent Backpacks met in church. Neither one of them worked in product design or engineering.
