Holy co-NWHL Players of the Week, Batman!

This week on your favorite NWHL-centric podcast Mike and Erica, both of whom were still stuffed after Thanksgiving, broke down the most intriguing week of the NWHL season to date. The Boston Pride and the Buffalo Beauts split their season series in Boston and the Connecticut Whale picked up their first win of the season thanks to a game-winning goal scored by Shannon Doyle with just 79 seconds left in regulation.

But that’s not all! We also dig into some major topics of conversation coming out of Riveters camp, discuss the NWHL Players of the Week, give a shout out to Jillian Dempsey for making some history, and talk goaltenders.

In our Thanksgiving episode, Hannah and Michelle start off with what we’re thankful for and Thanksgiving dinners. We take a look a few of the games over the weekend — including the Whale’s first win. Mailbag questions lead us to make NWHL v CWHL team game matchups. Hannah drinks gross wine and Michelle sings.

Hannah and Michelle talk about the Four Nations tournament. Should Canada start panicking? And how did #TheYouth do in this tournament? Also, we talk about Jayna Hefford, Cassie Campbell-Pascall, and the Hall of Fame, and discuss how we feel about the NWHL's All-Star location.

The Four Nations Cup break is over and NWHL Hockey is back!

The Whale have a new defender in Taylor Marchin, Mariya Sorokina is practicing with her team, and the Whitecaps kept busy last week with a game against the University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.

We also break down the NWHL’s 2019 All-Star Game in the Music City, the NWHL’s goaltending development camp, and a meaningful collaboration between the Boston Pride and other sports teams from the Boston-area. But the highlight of this week’s show was brainstorming what a Nashville NWHL’s team should be with our listeners!

This week on the Founding 4 Podcast Erica and Mike break down Week 4 of the 2018-19 NWHL season. The Minnesota Whitecaps are the last undefeated left standing with a spotless 6-0-0 record, but are they the best team in the league? We also discuss the Metropolitan Riveters’ first win of the season, the unbelievable play of Amanda Leveille, and cover some of the stories you, our listeners, want to hear about with a Founding 4 listener questions.

Michelle and Hannah cover a lot of ground this week, from the Blade’s goaltending situation to the Beauts crazy PDO to a bit of a preview for Four Nations. Michelle also uses a lot of big words. Hannah makes a crazy but extremely spot on pitch for the next Director of Women’s Hockey at USA Hockey.

Hannah welcomes Alyssa Longmuir to the show while Michelle recovers from a wedding and also watches the Red Sox in the World Series. Hannah and Alyssa talk about Aussie hockey, fancy stats in women's hockey, and our favorite animals from Down Under. It's a grand time.

This week Erica and Mike breakdown Week 3 of the 2018-19 NWHL season with our 44th episode of The Founding 4 Podcast. Well, technically, this is our 45th episode because we had some computer issues with last week’s show, but we’re calling it 44 with an asterisk!

As always, we give you our alternative Player of the Week picks, talk about some of the biggest NWHL-related stories of the week, and offer our thoughts and analysis on the last week of NWHL action. So, what are you waiting for, go give this week’s show a listen!

Hannah and Michelle take a look at what happened in the NWHL and CWHL last week. We talk about why the Rivs might be struggling, the insanity of Shannon Miller's new systems with the Inferno, and a record-breaking coach in the NCAA. We also have the best Start/Bench/Cut question ever recorded and Hannah and Michelle get into a heated discussion about raincoats (again).
