Mike & Erica are back and recording live from Riveters practice (well, at least half the duo).

The Boston Pride have a two-game streak after a convincing win over the Whale. Despite taking the first lead over the Riveters of the season, the Beauts fail to execute in the third, to drop their third straight.

In the Week 7 previews, Mike & Erica discuss what will likely be the must-watch game of the week as the Riveters look to defend their perfect season against a surging Pride team.

As if all of that wasn't enough, this episode includes the first installment of a TIG exclusive interview with HC Lugano defender Blake Bolden. Did your #AskBlakeBolden make the episode?

Here is a link to Dave Pendrys recap of the Boston win over Connecticut with great interviews with Thomas Poeck,

Whale defender Hanna Beattie and Jillian Dempsey(https://dfpsports.net/2017/12/10/whale-and-pride-speedfest-results-in-5-1-boston-win/).

Erica and Mike recap the Pride’s big win over the Buffalo Beauts and the Riveters 4-0 shutout over the Connecticut Whale. We also touch on what some of the teams have been doing right and what they need to get better at in our previews of Week 6’s action.

This week we also hit the listener mailbag for two questions that sparked an interesting discussion about the growth of the women’s game in an Olympic year as well as addressing the persistent question of why don’t the NWHL and CWHL just merge? More importantly, we both endorse an NWHL vs CWHL All-Star Game, because who doesn’t want to see that?

Welcome to Top Shelf, the women's hockey podcast where we keep the hot takes and the hard liquor. In our first episode, Hannah Bevis and Michelle Jay chat about Team USA's recent additions to the centralization roster, the craziness that was the NCAA this past weekend, and whether or not the Boston Pride will actually win a game.

Mike & Erica return to recap Week 4 in the NWHL. As the league skates into Thanksgiving break, the Riveters are still undefeated, the Whale’s veterans are finally scoring, the Beauts lineup keeps changing and the Pride let a late lead slip through fingers and are now 0-3-1.

For the first time Mike and Erica also answer questions submitted by the #Founding4Pod audience via Twitter. We discuss Kelli Stack getting snubbed by USA Hockey, the NWHL’s expansion plans (including some rumors), and who our All-Star picks are from the first quarter of the season.
