You don’t have to carry it all.
When you’ve walked through heartbreak, it can feel like the weight never really leaves. You learn to carry it… to brace for what might come next… to expect the hurt before it even happens.
But what if that’s not how you were meant to live?
This episode is a gentle reminder that you don’t have to hold onto everything you’ve been carrying.
You can let it go.
Little by little.
Day by day.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
God is with you and for you and He will carry what you were never meant to carry in the first place.

Chapter 16 – The Buried Seed-Grain
In Chapter 16 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Buried Seed-Grain,” we are invited to consider the hidden places where God often does His deepest work.
Jessie reminds us that burial can feel like loss, silence, or being unseen, yet in the hands of God it becomes the place where new life begins. The buried seed-grain teaches us that fruitfulness is often formed away from public view, where the believer learns to trust the Lord in stillness, surrender, and faith.
May this episode strengthen your heart in hidden seasons and help you receive the life God is quietly bringing forth — immeasurably more.

Chapter 15 – The Story of the Seed-Grain
In Chapter 15 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Story of the Seed-Grain,” we are invited to look more closely at the life that is released through surrender.
Jessie helps us understand that the seed-grain does not produce fruit by preserving itself, but by giving itself up to the process appointed by God. The life within it is multiplied only as it is yielded. This chapter reminds us that the way of Christ is not self-preservation, but trust, surrender, and the bringing forth of His life through us.
May this episode encourage you to yield more fully to the Lord’s purpose and receive His multiplying life — immeasurably more.

What if…?
What if something goes wrong?
What if things don’t work out?
What if I make the wrong decision?
What if the thing I’m afraid of actually happens?
We all have “what ifs.” And if we’re not careful, they can take us places God never asked us to go…into tomorrow, into imagined circumstances, and into fear.
In Episode 2 of our Who Told You That? Series, we’re talking about the questions we ask ourselves over and over again and the fear that can grow when we start treating possibilities like promises.
But what if, instead of letting the unknown control us, we asked a different question:
Who told you that you need to know what’s going to happen in order to trust God?
We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know the One who holds tomorrow. And whatever comes, God will already be there. He will give us what we need when we need it.
We don’t have to live in the “what if.”
We can trust the One who holds this moment and every detail of our lives in His powerful, loving hands.

Chapter 14 – The Story of a Grain of Wheat
In Chapter 14 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Story of a Grain of Wheat,” we are invited to see the spiritual meaning Jesus gave to the grain of wheat that falls into the ground and dies.
Jessie points us to the simple but powerful truth that fruitfulness comes through death to self and union with Christ. The grain must be hidden, buried, and broken before it can bring forth life. In the same way, the believer’s life becomes fruitful as it is yielded to the deep working of the Cross.
May this episode help you trust the hidden work of God and receive the life that bears much fruit — immeasurably more.

Chapter 13 – The Soul-Winner’s Secret
In Chapter 13 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Soul-Winner’s Secret,” we begin Part 2, “Much Fruit,” and are invited to consider the hidden spiritual life behind fruitful service for Christ.
Jessie reminds us that true fruitfulness does not begin with outward activity, natural ability, or human effort, but with a life deeply yielded to God. The soul-winner’s secret is found in union with Christ, where the Cross has done its inward work and the life of Jesus is free to flow through the believer.
May this episode draw you into deeper surrender and help you receive the fruitful life Christ gives — immeasurably more.

If only…
How often do we convince ourselves that if our circumstances were different, we would be different…happier, more peaceful, more grateful, more content?
In Episode 1 of Who Told You That?, we’re talking about the lie that contentment is always waiting for us somewhere else.
Our circumstances affect us, but they don’t have to determine our joy or who we become. We don’t have to wait for everything to change to experience God’s goodness, presence, peace, and purpose today.
So when your mind and heart start saying, If only…
Stop and ask: Who told you that?
Maybe God wants to meet you, change you, and teach you contentment right where you are.

Sometimes the exhaustion isn’t just physical.
It’s emotional. Spiritual. Mental.
It’s carrying too much for too long while trying to keep going.
In this gentle and hope-filled episode of Hope for Today, we’re reminded that God never asked us to carry life alone. Jesus invites the weary, burdened, and exhausted to come to Him and find rest.
If you’ve been feeling tired, overwhelmed, discouraged, or worn thin, this episode is a reminder that God sees you, He knows, and He will sustain you.
You do not have to strive your way through this season.
You can rest in Him.

Chapter 12 – The Messenger of the Cross
In Chapter 12 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Messenger of the Cross,” we are invited to consider what it means to carry the message of the Cross in both word and life.
Jessie reminds us that the messenger of the Cross must know more than the doctrine of the Cross; the message must be formed within the messenger. The Cross shapes the servant, humbles the heart, and reveals the power of God through a life surrendered to Christ. True ministry flows not from human wisdom or strength, but from the life of Jesus working through a yielded vessel.
May this episode help you embrace the message and the way of the Cross, and receive the life of Christ for faithful service — immeasurably more.
