How do you trust God when He’s allowed you to walk through heartbreak, loss, and pain? In today’s Hope for Today episode, we talk honestly about what trusting God looks like when life doesn’t make sense. When suffering feels overwhelming. When faith feels fragile. This episode is a reminder that trusting God is possible even when it seems impossible. Drawing from Jesus’ words and Peter’s response, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life,” this episode invites the listener to hold onto the truth that Jesus is worthy of our trust, even when our hearts are breaking. We’ve been celebrating over the last month by sharing our five most-listened-to episodes since we started the podcast And we’ve come to our final episode…number five, More Than You Can Handle. We love this episode and can appreciate why it was one of the top five. We’ve probably all heard the phrase, “God won’t give you more than you can handle.” But the truth is, God does allow us to walk through more than we can handle on our own. We know that from experience. There are things in life that are simply too heavy, too painful, and too much for us to carry in our own strength. But while God may allow more than we can handle, nothing is ever more than He can handle. And we were never meant to do this life in our own strength anyway. So whether you heard this episode when it first aired or you’re listening for the first time, we pray it reminds you that when life is more than you can handle, it will never be more than God can handle. You can trust Him to give you what you need, one day at a time. Song: Lofi Chill Hip Hop Beat - SpringVibes (youngfrenchy808) We would like to pray for you. What are you focusing on today? When life feels overwhelming, it’s easy to become consumed by our circumstances. Before long, our problems can seem bigger than our faith and our fears louder than God’s promises. In this Hope for Today episode, Jill invites listeners to lift their eyes above their worries and fix them on the God who is greater than anything we will ever face in this life. Together, we’ll be reminded that our help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth, the One who holds all things together, knows every detail of our lives, and remains faithful in every season. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, anxious, or simply weary, this episode is a reminder that while your circumstances may not change overnight, your perspective can. Because when we lift our eyes to God, we remember who He is and that changes everything. Music: “River,” an original piano piece written and performed by Benjamin Waggoner. Keep Going!! When life feels overwhelming…whether it’s a marriage crisis, family struggles, a health diagnosis, or quiet exhaustion…the temptation is either to give up or to power through in our own strength. In today’s Hope for Today, Jill reminds us of a freeing truth: God never asks us to be strong on our own. His power is made perfect in our weakness, and He gives strength to the weary. This episode encourages listeners to keep going, not by striving harder, but by surrendering to the God who loves us beyond measure. If you feel tired, discouraged, or stretched thin, this episode will remind you that you are not alone and that God is always able to do immeasurably more in your life. What if there is a better way to live? In today’s Hope for Today, we talk about coming to the end of ourselves and discovering the life Jesus offers…a life not shaped by culture or our own will and way, but by Christ. As we follow Jesus and become more like Him, our lives begin to reflect His light, love, and life in a way that changes everything. This episode is a reminder that there is always better when we choose to follow Jesus and experience a different way to live.
