On this episode we have on musician Jedd Hughes.  

Jedd was one of the easiest guests to talk to, and was so comfortable sharing every day life moments that I had to remind myself he’s a world class guitar player.  Jedd is from Australia and we talked about Australia music scene, the chaos of getting 3 kids to sleep at night, all 3 kids sometimes getting along, recording music at home and switching from parenting to creativity, stress of moving and finding good schools for your kids. And how he recorded his new album Nightshades.  

Jedd’s new album comes out on May 2nd.  And he will be playing an album release show at 3rd and Lindsley on May 4th at 7 pm presented by Lightning 100.  If you can’t make it to the show, catch him on tour with Vince Gill this summer.

On this episode we have on Devin Krotman.  

Devin was a huge help for us with taking lead on our Nashville based dad community including organizing walks and hang outs. 

We talked about  anxiety, how he feels about having a son after having 2 daughters,  his life as a stay at home dad, postpartum male depression, and how he got connected with us.  Devin shares his story of getting laid off from a job while on paternity leave and pivoting to stay at home parent life.  

Since recording this episode Devin had his third kid and has stepped back with helping out organize dad community in Nashville. Our friend Evan is helping out with taking lead. We can say enough how much we appreciate Devin’s help with community and Evan's help as well!  We hope you enjoy the episode.

Welcome to the first ever interview episode of The Imperfect Dads Podcast!

For this episode we have on musician Caleb Crosby.

Caleb and I talked about his son’s love of Halloween, expecting their second son this year, being a touring musician and how he stays connected to family,  how he involves his son with daily errands, teaching your kids calming techniques, and how as a dad you eat a lot of cold food.

Welcome to another Episode of The Nashville Dads!  This episode we have on Anthony Davis from East Nashville Beer Works!  We talk about how they became a family friendly brewery, being a kid birthday spot, the experience of doing a Home Alone pop up, setting up the Wilson County location, Fridays by the river with Friends of Shelby and City Cast Nashville, his mental space as a dad and business owner, his time as a city council member, and dad music and his band X-Ennials.  

This is our last episode under the name The Nashville Dads.  Next week we will change over to The Imperfect dad’s Podcast.  Anthony felt right for our last episode under this name.  He’s  community focused and is always looking for ways to hear from his community and meet their needs.  Most of this episode is talking about how much he works to create spaces you celebrate life events with your family.  And most of us have probably spent time there watching our kids on their playground.  Our next episode will be explaining why we’re changing our and how we plan to still keep Nashville Dad community going.
