Under fire Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth may have just blown up his own ship, with the disclosure of a 2016 video in which he agreed that certain war crimes need to be prosecuted (presumably like ordering defenseless ship wrecked men with their back turned not to be hit with missiles during wartime), and that soldiers have an obligation NOT to follow illegal commands of the commander in chief!. The irony of Hegseth's newly surfaced statements as he calls US Congresspeople traitors that should be courtmartialed for saying the same thing, is not lost on Popok.

Michael Popok spots something peculiar in a new filing by Epstein's co-conspirator in child sex trafficking, Ghislaine Maxwell, as her current attorney informs a federal judge that she is going to try to file another petition to get released from federal prison, but ON HER OWN, and not with an attorney!. Former FBI Dir. James Comey's lawyer, Professor Daniel Richman, has filed a new motion to prevent Trump's DOJ from using ANY part of the information they obtained from his emails, computers and laptops against Comey again, arguing that Richman's 4th Amendment rights against illegal search and seizure have been violated. Popok updates on the Comey and Letitia James investigations, including new reporting that Trump may be tryint to re-indict both of them before filing any appeal of Judge Currie's decision to find that Lindsey Halligan was illegally appointed and tossing the indictments for now.

In new reporting, the FBI, working thousands of hours of overtime, was ready to produce to the public ALL the Epstein Files in April-May 2025 at the instruction of embattled FBI Dir. Patel, but AG Bondi and Trump killed the project when it reached 75% complete, according to new FBI emails. Popok reports on the countdown to the release of the files allegedly on 19 December, and the existence of a devastating Exhibit List from Epstein's trial that sheds new light on what depraved materials may be in the files.

Did Trump used his podcaster of choice, Miranda Devine, with the NY Post, to orchestrate the leak of a scathing report by insiders against FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, in order to fire them both? Popok looks at the long history of Trump using the NY Post for leaks, and why this one fits the bill, as the new report effectively demands Patel's firing before he appears again before the Congressional Judiciary Committees for questioning.

In breaking news, a unanimous Third Circuit Court of Appeals has fired Alina Habba as the NJ US Attorney, finding that she was illegally and unconstitutionally appointed. Popok explains how last week's order upholding Habba's $1million federal court sanction for an earlier Trump case by another appeals court didn't help matters, as the Supreme Court's support for Trump will now be tested in a likely emergency appeal.
