The Intersection with Michael Popok

In a bit of trolling, the Norwegian Nobel Peace Price Committee has rejected Trump, and awarded it to the Venezuelan opposition leader in exile Maria Corina Machado, who has opposed Maduro since his own "Jan 6" election denying coup. Popok explains how the chairman of the Nobel committee is a fierce defender of Freedom of the Press and has rebuked Trump in the past for attacking the press, as MAGA loses its mind and tries to pass a Congressional resolution to award Trump the Norwegian prize!?!

A major figure in the Trump White House has been accused of another sex scandal, this time Paul Ingrassia, Trump's pick to head the federal watchdog office The Office of Special Counsel, and currently the WH liaison to the Dept. of Homeland Security, has been accused by a Trump staffer of sexually harassing her by making her share a room with him on an official trip. Popok does a deep dive into Igrassia, who is an election-denier, 9-11 denier, Jan6 denier, and anti-semite, who the MAGA Senate doesn't want to confirm at all.

Popok provides an overview of what went down today at the 9th Circuit as a 2-Trump judge panel considered whether Trump will be able to mobilize federal troups and the Oregon national guard because of bad things that happened in Portland 4 months ago, or 5 years ago.

Blind ambition is on full display, as Trump's pet Lindsey Halligan decides to take a job that under the ethics of her Bar License she should have turned down, and now that her independent judgment required has been compromised by her client Trump, she has put her law license at serious risk. Popok explains that not only will James Comey's lawyers be filing a knock blow of a motion to disqualify her in the coming days, but she may head the list of Trump lawyers who have felony convictions and/or lost their bar licenses as well.

Popok provides a primer of what can be expected at today's oral argument at the 9th Circuit, as the Court decides whether Trump has the legal justification to quell a 'rebellion' or domestic violence in Portland or whether it's just a few people wearing costumes and exercising their first amendment rights to protest. He also explains the Court's Administrative Stay order in advance of the hearing and what it means.
