Many of us know what physical, work-related, and mental/emotional burnout are but what about spiritual burnout? I’m this 2 part series, we’re breaking down what Spiritual Burnout is what ways we can fight it!

Whichever ‘VERT’ we are, mainly focuses on where we gain our energy from. Vanessa Van Edwards wrote a book discussing the breakdown between being an extrovert, introvert, and an ambivert. Our goal as INTROPOWERED should be to able to flow easily between being an extrovert and introvert, while prioritizing how we recharge, with the goal always to be pulled forward by our life’s magnet. I’ve always been frustrated with personality assessments that tend to have an overall negative bend towards introverts…

They have a negative connotation towards us…but the reality is our world today, opportunities come to those who are confident.

Gain energy from being alone or within smaller groups of like-minded people

Prefer to work in the background but has one lane in which we LEAD through our gifting

Confidently say NO with a SMILE

(Desire to have the heart to help others and not have it stomped on)

Desire to practice with the goal of mastery towards Personal Stewardship (aka self-care)

Determined to be KIND by choice, not the false narratives, obligations, and expectations that being nice has taught us

Helping to identify the BIGGER YES that is directly connected to our passion and life magnets (our spiritual gift)

There is not nor has there ever been anything wrong with us!

We, like EVERYONE ELSE, do have character areas of growth: Being shy, people pleasing, not speaking our truths, speaking up for ourselves

The Great Resignation has made it popular now to make a shift in our careers, but I believe it is also time to make a shift in our lives, ministries, etc

It is time to make the SHIFT from being NICE to Being KIND, FIRST to ourselves THEN to others! We are being nice to ourselves and NOT KIND when we lie about how we’re really feeling, trying to do everything on our own, and pretending we’re not AWESOME at certain things so others won’t be uncomfortable or feel insecure…check out how we can practically be kind to ourselves with the goal of becoming a better version of ourselves as 2022 comes upon us. Kindness is to boundaries like hand is to glove! True, honest, authentic, and genuine kindness must be protected by firm and appropriate parameters to ensure longevity. Being nice is always short lived, inauthentic, and will eventually cause us to explode emotionally if we have no limits in place.
