Today Jan is joined by AnnaKate Marsh, a Child Life Specialist and mental health counselor, who is here to talk about different methods of how to communicate about trauma with children, as well as some of the neuro-science that is the bedrock to these methods as with many other therapeutic practices. AnnaKate is also a survivor of child sexual abuse by a peer and the way that her parents and the professionals surrounding her coming forward about her abuse was the loadstone to her choosing her career path.
