Dr. Sheila Dunn-Merritt As one of the first graduates of Bastyr, Dr. Dunn-Merritt studied with the pioneers in the field of natural medicine including Bastyr University's namesake, the late, Dr. John Bastyr, the co-founders of Bastyr: Dr. Joe Pizorrno and the late Dr. William Mitchell. Dr. Dunn-Merritt's unique education of nursing and naturopathic medicine blend the basic sciences of MD's with knowledge of noninvasive, natural therapies. Dr. Dunn-Merritt offers her patient's decades of clinical experience, with strong skills emphasizing correct diagnosis, supportive treatments, prevention and wellness. Dr. Dunn-Merritt has studied homeopathy extensively over the last 26 years. She has received training with the Paul Herscu, ND, of the New England School of Homeopathy, the NW Institute of Homeopathy, and attended seminars with world famous homeopaths including: Louis Klein of Canada, Robert and Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman ND, Roger Morrison, MD, Jayash Shaw, and Rajan Sancran of India. As a practicing veterinarian with over 20 years experience, Jane Charbonneau has been able to see firsthand, the power of the bond between people and their pets as well as the power that thought has to allow for profound healing in patients for which, medically, little hope could be given. These special pets and their people were the catalyst that started Jane's journey into learning as much as she could about quantum physics and healing through energy. About Dr. Alan Gettis:

There was something missing. Although he had degrees from four different universities and was schooled in psychodynamic, supportive, and cognitive behavioral therapy, there seemed to be a key ingredient that was lacking in his therapeutic approach to helping others heal and thrive.

That was in 1969, when his search for the missing ingredient lead him to studies of world cultures in general and Zen in particular. As the years passed and he became steeped in stories and Zen wisdom, he knew he had uncovered an important method of helping people to get unstuck and feel happier. Yes, Dr. Alan Gettis believes wholeheartedly in the power of stories.

Dr. Gettis spent two years as a Vietnam era army psychologist in the late 1960’s. In the 1970’s, he worked for seven years at a large mental health center as the Chief Psychologist. He is a clinical psychologist with graduate degrees from Central Michigan University, Utah State University, and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He has been in private practice since 1974. He has also authored "Seven Times Down, Eight Times Up" (Trafford, 2004), and "Sun Faced Haiku, Moon Faced Haiku" (Brooks, 1982).

Debra Silverman is an astrologer and psychotherapist. She has been in private practice for 32 years. She has a unique approach to both psychology and astrology that has brought her world-class status. For the past seven years Debra has had the honor of teaching at the internationally-renowned Esalen Institute. She has written columns for parenting magazines in the U.S. and Canada and starred on a radio show in Vancouver for many years. Debra's specialty is blending astrology and psychology to help clients understand their life lessons, unique purpose, strengths and challenges. Her work is based on Jungian psychology and the four primal elements of Water, Air, Earth and Fire. She trained for her mental health credentials at Harvard University where she specialized in Dance Therapy. A little bit about Lisa Williams in her own words: "When I was a little girl, I discovered I had a gift. Communicating with those who are no longer with us. Some people say what I do is scary other people say I change their lives. I just say what I hear and see and I see a lot.

My personal 'spiritual' journey has been an exciting and rewarding one. I had to go through many life-changing experiences to understand what my calling was in life.
