The Kelsi Sheren Perspective

The clock is ticking. On March 17, 2027, the Canadian government is set to open the doors for MAiD for mental illness.

They want you to think they’ve had a change of heart. They haven't. They’ve simply delayed the inevitable to see if you’ll stop paying attention. As a combat veteran who has spent 15 years navigating the system with PTSD, TBI, and depression, I’m not just a commentator—I’m a witness.

In this episode, I break down the "Treatment Resistant" trap, the reality of the 2027 deadline, and why the system is offering a needle instead of the healing therapies (like breathwork and psilocybin) that actually work.

What we cover:

• 0:00 – The 2027 Deadline: Reversal or Delay?

• 02:25 – Why "Mental Illness is Terminal" is a Lie.

• 04:20 – The "Killing Grandma" Reality: Control vs. Compassion.

• 06:50 – From Loneliness to Euthanasia: The Spain Precedent.

• 09:11 – Bill 18 and the Fight for Hope in Alberta.

Canada isn't the 51st state — yet. But we're already acting like it is.

Trump keeps calling Canada the 51st state and everyone's laughing. I'm not. As a veteran who's watched this country hollow out from the inside — the military crisis, the MAID-over-care policy, 108,000 jobs lost — this isn't a punchline. It's a pattern.

Pierre went on Rogan and told Trump to knock it off. Great. What happens when he doesn't? We have no pipeline leverage. No energy plan B. A military in readiness crisis. And a government that thinks Davos is the answer.

Sovereignty isn't a slogan. It's what you do with trade, defense, and your own people. And right now, Canada is failing all three.

I'm saying the uncomfortable part out loud — because someone has to.

This video examines a growing contradiction in Canada’s healthcare system between MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) and access to psilocybin therapy through Health Canada’s Special Access Program (SAP).After personally navigating the Special Access Program for psilocybin therapy, I experienced firsthand how slow, expensive, and bureaucratic the process can be.Before gaining approval for psilocybin therapy, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) was offered as a treatment option.Meanwhile, MAID in Canada continues expanding, raising serious questions about access to treatment versus access to assisted death. This video explores:• MAID Canada explained• Track 1 MAID• psilocybin therapy research• Health Canada Special Access Program• psychedelic therapy for trauma and depression• Canada healthcare policy - - - - - - - - - - - -
