What were the Kentucky Cave Wars? It was a fierce business rivalry in the early 1900s between competing cave owners around Mammoth Cave in south-central Kentucky. It involved sabotage, dueling false advertising and smear campaigns, and other cartoonish hijinks that resulted in a national park being established.
