Autotune, mathematics and a random CD from 1996 all compete for attention, while Nixxi ends up listening to Adam Rickitt. Kev wins Legend Tune with Zombie Nation by two votes. The show also contains one of the early 'old audio/random material' rummages that would become increasingly important to Kev & Nixxi's self-referential style.

Nixxi wins Legend Tune with J Majik & Wickaman and the next head-to-head becomes Röyksopp against Zombie Nation. iPhone Game of the Week is Falling Balls. The episode is characteristic of early 2010 Kev & Nixxi: a simple listener question rapidly becomes a vehicle for personal stories, studio interruptions and competitive features.

Guests join Kev and Nixxi for an episode built around eating, banter and the usual studio distractions. Nixxi wins Legend Tune with Hyperlogic, while the next contest becomes J Majik & Wickaman against Ida Corr. iPhone Game of the Week is You vs Wall. The show sits in the period where the original Legend Tune structure, the newer iPhone-game strand and an increasingly familiar cast of studio visitors are all running together.

Nixxi goes on strike while the show heads into Valentine's weekend, with Rob joining the programme and attempting to frighten the presenters while also looking for love. Kev wins Legend Tune with Paradise - See the Light against Nixxi's Scooter - I Shot the DJ, and the next choices are Hyperlogic against Marc et Claude. iPhone Game of the Week is Most Addictive Game, continuing a feature that had only recently become a regular part of the programme.

The listeners are asked what random animal they would own and what they would call it, producing the episode's cat-and-carpet imagery. It confirms that Show 7 was a week off, revisits the Show 1 Kiss Me Through the Phone material, the Show 2 Joke of the Week beginnings, Alex's Show 10 dress surprise, the Show 16 prawn fear and the Show 17 Apple/iTunes approval. Kev’s Christmas-heavy Legend Tune strategy finally gives him a fifth consecutive win with The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York.

Kev wins Legend Tune with Daft Punk’s “One More Time”. The title comes from The Killers’ “Human” Ocelot Remix and a running ‘oscillating ocelot’ joke, while Kev’s gum abscess, Miley’s appetite for household possessions and continuing phone-line problems all return. Kev’s gum abscess returns and he is now on antibiotics, while Mustang reminds him to finish the course. The title grows out of The Killers - Human (Ocelot Remix) and the phrase 'oscillating ocelots'. The phone fault continues, Miley has eaten Nixxi’s belt, Emma is listening from bed and Rob starts the 'Give the Gift of Nixxi for Christmas' joke. The show also rummages through random music and effects in the playout system, a useful glimpse of the production habits that later feed the formal soundboard culture.
