Nixxi won Legend Tune with Faithless' Insomnia before Kev and Nixxi asked listeners for the most horrible things they had ever seen. Ryan Walker (Biscuit) joined them in the studio as the audience supplied increasingly grim stories and revolting internet discoveries, pushing the conversation exactly as far downhill as expected. Jordan was handed Nixxi's next set of Legend Tune choices, while a Dairylea Ham & Cheese Lunchable made an appearance as an intentionally terrible prize when nobody managed to earn it.

Kev finally stopped Nixxi's Legend Tune winning streak as Eiffel 65's Blue took the vote. The celebrations were nearly derailed by a spectacular technical collapse when the playout computer died near the start of the show, leaving Nixxi to keep things moving while Kev went into emergency engineer mode and somehow bullied the system back into life. An Australian caller named Carl joined the Saturday-night chaos, alongside the usual listener messages and an extended three-hour helping of Kev & Nixxi.

With Nixxi away at Ladies’ Day, Kev presents the show solo and spends more time taking calls, requests and messages from listeners. Conversations wander through irritating telephone systems, hold music and nuisance sales calls, while Laura phones in after her administrator appearance the previous week. Nixxi still takes the Legend Tune point with QFX - Freedom, and Kev dips into an older radio recording of the Radio Tennis feature with Luke.

Nixxi made it three Legend Tune wins with Safri Duo - Played-A-Live. Laura joined Kev and Nixxi in the studio as guest administrator, complete with makeshift secretary glasses, while the Lying Down Game moved onto the website through photographs taken during the show. Nixxi's suspected swine flu and an embarrassing hospital visit sent the conversation towards bodily horrors, until it became so disgusting that they abandoned the whole thing and switched to terrible jokes instead. Ryan Walker (Biscuit) joined in, and Kev and Nixxi reminisced about their earlier radio days in the East End, including an overnight show where they kept one caller on the phone until around 3am. Nixxi also revealed that she would be abandoning Kev the following Saturday.

Nixxi extended her Legend Tune lead with Solarstone's Seven Cities, beating Kev's Bomfunk MC's - Freestyler. A £1 dog-walking idea turned into a discussion with listeners about what could actually be bought for a quid, while Laura volunteered on air to become the show's administrator and was invited into the studio for Show 3. Alex supplied Joke of the Week and listeners took part in the next Legend Tune vote, choosing between Nixxi's Lange, York and Safri Duo selections and Kev's Watergate, Tom Jones and Roger Sanchez choices.

Nixxi kicked off the very first Kev & Nixxi with a Legend Tune victory as Underworld's Born Slippy won the opening vote. Kev and Nixxi launched straight into Kiss Me Through the Phone, bringing Kev's mam and the mysterious Phantom Kisser onto the phone, while Alex Humberstone supplied Joke of the Week and the pair got to grips with their brand-new Saturday-night show. The first programme also mixed in plenty of new music, listener messages and the sort of live chaos that would quickly become part of Saturday nights on NE1fm.
