Do you have a voice?

Do you respect yourself enough to know what you believe—and to make sure the people in your life know it too?

I am not asking whether you can address a stadium. I am asking whether you can address your son. Your daughter. Your neighbor. The fellow in the break room who says something absolutely ridiculous and then looks around because he expects everybody else to nod.

Can you explain what you stand for before political small talk becomes political hostage-taking?

Conservatives should have the best elevator pitch in America. We have the best product.

We believe your life belongs to you—not to Washington, not to a bureaucrat, not to a grievance merchant, and certainly not to a blue-haired woman with a sociology degree and a clipboard.

Now, I’m proud to say that my mind cannot conjure up what Leftists think up. I lack the necessary malfunction.

You must be a special kind of crazy to invent their nonsense—and then possess an even more advanced form of crazy to rationalize it.

The first insanity is spontaneous. The rationalization requires committee meetings, consultants, focus groups, a university study, and a federal grant.

I can’t predict what Leftists will do next. But whatever it is, I already know they’ll call it compassionate, equitable, and necessary to save democracy.

Kill babies, protect rapists and murderers?

Support terrorists and fraudsters?

Check and check.

Side with practically anything working against America—and attack practically anything good about America?

Separating fact from fiction is supposedly more difficult than ever.

Especially now that artificial intelligence can manufacture photographs, imitate voices, and produce video of politicians saying things they never said.

Although, to be fair, Joe Biden spent four years producing videos of himself saying things no one understood. No artificial intelligence required. Occasionally, no recognizable intelligence required.

And the technology will only get better.

That means our ability to distinguish truth from fiction had better get better, too.

So, trust your training.

Trust your instincts.

Trust your gut.

And sadly, I have considerably more gut to trust these days.

I have excuses, of course. Every man with a growing waistline has excuses. We don’t gain weight—we accumulate mitigating circumstances.

My wife endured a medical issue that lasted more than a year, which disrupted our lives and kept me from getting to the gym. Then came the medical bills, the stresses of life, and a few other unexpected hitches.

Life happened.

But I endured, just as you endure.

Because we are warriors. Patriots. People willing to tolerate inconvenience, sacrifice comfort, and occasionally loosen a belt buckle for the cause.

Over the past decade, conservatives trained for the Olympics of politics.

We studied the issues. We researched the candidates. We watched the hearings. We tracked the money. We learned about ballot harvesting, censorship, lawfare, intelligence agencies, nonprofit networks, and government corruption.

Meanwhile, the Left didn’t train for the Olympics.

They fixed the judges, changed the scoring system, disqualified the competition, and then gave themselves participation trophies for courage.

They sat around eating bonbons and drinking Kool-Aid while we sweated and toiled.

But all that training paid off.

The media can no longer fool us—not the way they once did. Smooth-talking politicians can’t dazzle us with polished speeches and focus-grouped phrases. Government bureaucrats can’t simply announce, “We investigated ourselves and found ourselves magnificent.”

We know the truth the Leftist-controlled government never wanted ordinary Americans to discover:

They lie.

They lie about crime.

They lie about the economy.

They lie about race.

They lie about elections.

They lie about men becoming women.

They lie about the border while millions of illegal aliens walk across it.

And then, when the consequences arrive, they tell us not to believe our lying eyes.

For years, our vote-counting system became an illusion, and with it, our belief that the people running the country were protecting our investment in America.

They weren’t protecting it.

They allowed practically anybody to take advantage of us. Foreign governments, illegal immigrants, corrupt contractors, political nonprofits, race hustlers, gender hustlers, climate hustlers—and every other hustler with a grant application and a Democratic voter-registration form.

There is a lot of talk about DSA candidates, as if left of crazy is something new.

There is not.

All Democrats have really done is create a label for the most visible faction of their party. They call them DSA. They call them democratic socialists. They call them progressives. They call them the activist wing.

But the ideas did not suddenly arrive with the label.

The question is not whether DSA is different from Democrats.

The question is how different DSA is from Democrats.

For years, Democratic politicians have defended or embraced positions involving abolishing ICE, defunding or radically restructuring police departments, dramatically increasing taxes, expanding government income guarantees, decriminalization, lax enforcement, open-border policies and an ever-expanding welfare state.

The Project On Government Oversight downloaded and analyzed data from USAspending.gov that the nonprofit group says in a report released on Tuesday shows over 74% – $712.6 billion – of $958.6 billion in domestic grant spending from fiscal 2024 couldn’t be tracked to the local level.

The Trump administration confirmed with Just the News that the lack of accountability shown in the report's findings is why new rules have been proposed for federal grantmaking, and they comport with those at the Office of Management and Budget.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Tuesday he’s stopping more than $1 billion in federal Medicaid payments to California and Minnesota over suspected fraud.

“We are not sending Medicaid dollars out the door until we have confidence that they are being spent lawfully and appropriately,” Kennedy said at an announcement on Tuesday.

Kennedy said if California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) want the money to fund low-income healthcare, “they need to provide documentation that these payments are legitimate.”
