The Legendary Ladies are officially back from the summer hiatus - and are heading to Sterling Point (in Muskoka, which is just so fun to say). Amy, Kat, and Morgan are thrilled to talk about one of the hottest shows out there, settling in for this pilotpod that just hits right. They chat about how the pacing seemed to play well into the episode, why Gen Z felt honestly represented, and the realism of that snappy dialogue that took the hosts back to the language of Gilmore Girls and The West Wing. They also muse why the main character didn't seem to know how far away Canada was, but decide they could ignore that in lieu of an otherwise entertaining 45 minutes.

The hosts chat about how the series feels like a genuine translation of a book to screen, the tasteful artistry of the sexual depictions, and discuss the queer aspects of the show that can invite audiences of all types to consume the series.

It's time for Amy's spooky season pick - and we don't really mind that it is halfway through November. As anyone who listens to the podcast (or knows Amy at all) could guess, she was so excited to watch Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein; it is not, however, Kat's cup of tea (again, as you all should know). But that doesn't really matter, because as it turns out, Amy can talk about the film for literally 45 minutes almost entirely on her own. It's a fascinating look into the brain of two storytellers, one who loves gothic horror, and the other who may not love, but deeply respects it.
