You are in for a treat with this conversation with Somatic Therapist, Ginger Rivest...  It's SO enlightening and will give you a deeper understanding of yourself.  Sandy opens up about her experience with Ginger and how it increased her capacity for navigating stress, increased self awareness and more safety in her vulnerability (especially in her new relationship).  The biggest gift of somatic work is that it helps us notice what we are feeling and to trust those feelings.  

Ginger began her professional therapy career as a Neuro-Somatic Therapist based in Nelson BC.   She draws upon knowledge from Chinese medicine, Tui Na massage, Chi Gong, Western therapeutic massage, as well as indegenous healing traditions. Here began her infatuation with medical anthropology and learning healing traditions from around the globe that would inspire her for years.  She went on to train in Relational Somatic Therapeutic Counselling, is a yoga teacher and co-facilitates Family and Collective Constellations workshops.
