The Little Dum Dum Club with Tommy & Karl

This week we're joined by GREG LARSEN and MIKE GOLDSTEIN! Greg's had some issues lining up a delicious post-gig feast, Chandler's interrogating the canteen options at his gym, and we go on a riotous Ocean's Eleven-style journey with Greg Larsen as he pulls off the heist of the century on a major fast-food chain. Us so horny!

This week we're joined by MELANIE BRACEWELL & TOM BALLARD! Mel's had a spray tan JUST FOR US, Tommy's encountered two doctors with unbelievable surnames PLUS Comedy Festival season is just around the corner so that means it's time to start planning for the hottest show in the guide: The Worst of Melbourne Comedy. Who's getting booked? How loud should the house music be? Where should the seats be facing? And most importantly: what's wrong with us?

This week we're joined by DAVE THORNTON and JOSH THOMAS! We're being closely monitored by a publicist AND Blanket, as Josh is on the press junket for his new stand-up tour and already considering a career change. Meanwhile, Tommy's had multiple rough experiences at the doctor, plus we get a run down of Josh's recent hopeless mishaps including losing both his shoes AND a motor vehicle.

This week we've got BRETT BLAKE in the room and HARLEY BREEN on Zoom for the huge announcement that they're both joining us for the Koh Samui International Podcast Festival 2024! We're brainstorming ways to get some Thai locals to listen to the podcast and scheduling our edible consumption for the four nights. PLUS Brett's got a new job as a tour guide and we take a trip down memory lane to his wild days hurling drinks at balconies in Perth.

This week we're joined by PETER HELLIAR and DAMIEN POWER! It's Damo's first time on the podcast and he's picked possibly the worst episode to listen to in order to prime himself. Karl's attempts to meditate have not been successful as he's had one of his angriest days in recent memory at the gym. Tommy's basking in the glow of being newly engaged and getting multiple curious responses to his news while out in public PLUS we chat to Pete about one of our all-time favourite memories of him. You could say, it's a bit of a callback ;)

This week we're joined by JOSH EARL and DANNY MCGINLAY! McGinlay's been recognised in an unlikely location, Tommy's tent has been defiled at a music festival, Karl's list of most hated comedians from seven years ago needs updating, PLUS there's a very, very particular reason why we've gathered these two specific guests together. Can you solve the mystery before we reveal it on air? ;)

This week we're joined by CAMERON JAMES and DANIELLE WALKER for our first official guest announcement for the Koh Samui International Podcast Festival 2024! WHO COULD IT BE!? Along the way we discuss Pig Island, Thailands legalisation of medical marijuana, Karl going to the bank to book out an entire resort PLUS a locked-away childhood memory of Tommy's gives us our first taste of potential content that you'll all be watching on the beach in six months.

We're back for a new year with guests SAM TAUNTON and NAZEEM HUSSAIN! Tommy's dredging up an old memory from LAST New Years Eve about catching an Uber Pet and along the way we get sidetracked by a yarn about Merv Hughes watching comedy and pitching a movie based around the unsung heroes featured in David Boon's legendary downing of 52 cans on a flight. PLUS Karl's been to a doctor with one of the greatest names of all time after getting some terrible medical advice from Nazeem.

This week we're joined by DAVE HUGHES and BRON LEWIS! Bron's husband is in Ibiza and Hughesy's fondly remembering his time studying IT near Karl's house, but we're most excited to learn that we're in the presence of an icon. Hughesy has been named as one of Rolling Stone's 50 Australian Icons so we spend a good chunk of our time dissecting the rest of the list. Along the way we cast Hughesy's Plastic Bucket Boys, attempt to get him mentioned in the Daily Mail, and hear about Richard Branson disrespecting him. No thank yew!
