I received a question on why it's important to go through the hassle of doing SEO which takes a ton of work and patience whereas paying Google Ads will still rank you at the first page of their Search Engine Result Page. This is a valid question and it's always very interesting to listen to the perspective other people have on different subjects. The short answer is, SEO is playing the long game and generates genuine organic traffic that gives you an edge over your competition. More of my opinion on the subject is in the episode.

Off-page SEO involves tactics that are indirectly related to your website. This involves link building or creating of backlinks from your websites and in a time where every other website is competing for specific keyword rankings, it makes much more sense to improve your off-page SEO performance and outrank your competitors.
Google introduced a software called Penguin in 2012 that basically crawls through websites to find any form of backlink manipulation on websites and inherently penalise websites that went against their guidelines. So you want to carry out proper and high quality backlink building and avoid penalties such as your website being totally removed from Google Search Engine Result page.

The message and how you portray , engage and create awareness around your consumer segment is equally as important as getting the final product or service to work correctly. Product Marketing deals essentially with the communication between the product and the customer frictional touchpoint, enhancing seamless transaction of information and a better conversion rate overall.
