Two years sober. I couldn’t go two days sober for 10+ years. Sobriety saved my life. I am crying typing this. I can remember all those lonely drunk walks home where I didn’t want to be here anymore. Alcohol is what I used to numb the pain of my depression and suicidal thoughts. Honestly I wouldn’t be alive if I didn’t get sober. I don’t even recognize that person.
