Months ago I was inspired to make chaplets, smaller versions of the traditional rosary beads.  I have never made them nor used a rosary in years and years.  However, I have always been fascinated with Mother Mary in the bible.  Then I discovered a book entitled, The Way of the Rose, by Clark Strand and Perdita Finn.

In the book  as on their Facebook page, by the same name, they tell the stories of how they went from a more secular life to a spiritual life.  Neither author was raised Catholic nor do they see the rosary as belonging only to the Catholics but to anyone of any or no faith seeking connection.

I started using the chaplets during part of my meditation practice including saying the rosary at the beginning or at the end.  

Sometimes it is nice to have several different ways to meditate or pray.  I offer up this personal example as just an offering for you to ponder.

Can't sleep?  Up early?  What do you do besides worry? Having a variety of ways to bring us back to center to send light out into the world can be a form of prayer.  Even if you are not a church goer there are ways to be faithful, spiritual, and just a good person.  

When difficult emotions come out of no  where what does that mean? Going deeper takes courage, but the outcome will ultimately lead to emotional freedom and growth.
