Tomorrow is my birthday, and on this episode a share with you an incredible poem by Linda Ellis called “The Dash Poem”. I’m sure some, or most of you have heard this poem in your life. If not, saddle up, because these are extremely powerful words.

There’s usually two days a year where a do a serious reflection, New Year’s, and my birthday. However, by far the most reflecting I do is on my birthday, because it’s mine. It’s a full year of growing older, and it’s a full year to reflect on how far I’ve come.

Reflection is so important guys; moving forward is so important. I used to just let the years go by on autopilot without any goals, and dreams, any desire to grow a better version of myself. If that’s you STOP! You are wasting your life. We are all born to do great things, and be great things, but you need to find those things in discomfort. Comfort is where people stay to die. The thing you need to realize is that the brain LOVES comfort. It will try and keep you there at all costs. So, it’s up to YOU to decide. It’s up to you to say fear is no longer going to take hold of me.

It’s time to step up, and it all starts with you.

We all go through changes in our lives, and the are usually inspired by one of these four seasons. Sometimes you can experience more than one season at a time. It’s so powerful to become aware of what season of change you are in, or have gone through in the past. Some seasons require more accountability from you, and others are an extreme shock to you system.

Regardless of what season inspires change in you, you should be super proud of yourself. Change means growth, and if you are not growing, you are dying!
