The Naturist Vibe

Why do so many naturist creators — people making genuinely non-sexual, body-positive content — end up on OnlyFans, of all places? And why does landing there get them written off as "basically porn," no matter what they actually post?

This week Gabby and Dan untangle the trap: how mainstream platforms censor non-sexual nudity right off the "clean" internet, how that pushes creators onto adult-coded platforms that come with a built-in reputation, and why the people quietly pulling the strings aren't even the platforms — they're the payment processors. We get into why "just move to a naturist-friendly site" isn't the easy answer it sounds like, walk through a real r/nudism pile-on (kept anonymous) that shows the community doing the judging itself, and dig into why the suspicion lands so much harder on women. Plus: what it actually costs to make this work, and why a paywall usually doesn't mean sex.

The whole ask, in one line: judge the content, not the address.

An AI-generated "naturist" image showed up in our Discord on the Fourth of July, and it forced a conversation we'd been meaning to have out loud. This episode is our formal answer — and a formal rule: why fabricated people, and fabricated art, don't belong in a movement built on real bodies. We walk through what actually happened, give the other side a fair hearing, and untangle the two arguments people keep conflating about AI imagery — who's being depicted, and what the tool costs. Plus: where the line actually sits (a hand-drawn cartoon on a banner is fine — an AI-generated one isn't), why clubs keep reaching for AI slop, how to make real content easier, and why we put our money behind real musicians and real artists. Real bodies, real art, real words — made by real people.
