The film is set in the year 2045, when much of humanity, escaping the desolation of the real-world, uses the virtual reality software OASIS to engage in work and play. Ten years after the Battle of the Breach, the oceans have become restless once again, but the Jaeger program has evolved into the next generation for the PPDC. However, a mysterious organization has reopened the Breach for the Kaiju and a Jaeger has gone rogue. Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, rises up to stand against the evolved Kaiju and the mysterious rogue Jaeger, Obsidian Fury, to prevent humanity's extinction and preserve his father’s legacy. John Boyega leads a team of new pilots alongside Scott Eastwood and Cailee Spaeny to try and stop a new set of kaiju from reaching their final objective of destroying the Earth.

After the Defenders, we get to circle to the individual stories of the 4 titular heroes of the universe. Jessica Jones season 2 picks up back with our angry superpowered private detective and her quest to find out more about what or who gave her superpowers and why. This season focuses on not only Jessica's origins so to speak but also the origins of her friendship with Trish. This season also goes much further into showing Trish, Malcolm, and even Hogarth as a supporting worth truly caring about.

Tomb Raider is a 2018 American action-adventure film directed by Roar Uthaug and written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Alastair Siddons, from a story by Evan Daugherty and Robertson-Dworet. It is based on the 2013 video game of the same name, with some elements of its sequel by Crystal Dynamics, and is a reboot of the Tomb Raider film series. The film stars Alicia Vikander as Lara Croft, in which she embarks on a perilous journey to her father's last-known destination, hoping to solve the mystery of his disappearance. Dominic West, Walton Goggins, Daniel Wu and Kristin Scott Thomas appear in supporting roles. When the heir to a family fortune is thrown into a series of events, she must head to an island that holds secrets of her father, her legacy, and possibly her future.

Movie Review: Gringo (2018) Harold Soyinka (David Oyelowo) is an average businessman who works for Cannabax Technologies Inc, a company that has developed the "Weed Pill", medical marijuana that has been simplified into a pill. Harold's bosses, Elaine Markinson (Charlize Theron) and Richard Rusk (Joel Edgerton), send him to Mexico to handle the manufacturing of the product, but while out partying he ends up getting kidnapped by the cartel, which holds a grudge against Harold's bosses and their company. Richard hires a professional named Mitch (Sharlto Copley) to safely get Harold out of harm's way, only for the two to end up having to survive one outrageous situation after another. The film is directed by Nash Edgerton and written by Anthony Tambakis and Matthew Stone. This is an Amazon Studios production.
