Let's face it.  Most of us aren’t Olympians.  We’re parents and people with full time jobs, and we’re not in our twenties any more.

But we still want to get the best out of ourselves every time we train and line up at the start.

Today we are going to talk to John Davis, coach and writer, who holds a PhD in human performance.  His new book is called Marathon Excellence for Everyone and I’m going to ask him if everyone really can be excellent at it.
