If you have kids, you know that they can sometimes do the strangest, riskiest, dumbest things ever. Every parent has experienced that WHAT were you thinking?!? moment. Kid logic is its own special thing. Now think back to your own childhood. How many times did you find yourself staring down a painfully stupid situation of your own making? And is there any creature more intimidating to a 10 or 11 year-old than a world-weary teenager with their casual ability to annihilate your entire baby-ish reality? Kid logic is so crazy and reckless that it's a wonder any of us survive it - no wonder we get grownup amnesia. Remembering the kids we were can be just so....yikes. Cringe.
