Anger is a natural emotion, and it's perfectly okay to feel it. We need to normalize anger and recognize that it's a healthy part of our emotional range. By suppressing our anger, we're only doing ourselves a disservice.
In this episode I talk about what anger is and how it is looked at socially, and how yoga can help us become a witness of our anger versus a vehicle for it.
All of our emotions are transient things that pass through us and help us experience life. the more we can embrace our "bad" emotions, the more we experience "good" ones.
So let's embrace our anger, and work towards expressing it in a constructive manner. Let's create a world where everyone feels empowered to express their emotions, without fear of judgment.

A lot of the time the yoga community gets painted a "good vibes only". However, yoga is about union, between people, the physical and mental, and the darkness and light that resides in all of us.
My guest this week is Phil Sussman. He is a Army combat veteran and co-founder of American Yogi, a yoga clothing brand that has evolved into a movement to get yoga to veteran communities and breaking the stigma what what "a yogi looks like".
This this episode we discuss the beginnings of American Yogi, how Phil's practice has changed and affected him off the mat, the evolution of American Yogi and future plans, and how/why we should welcome our darkness with light.

Sitting down again with a hot cup of coffee and sharing ideas. Often when we are in the pursuit of something we go 100%, all-in, balls deep, etc. However, this can lead to burn out. In this episode, I talk about the importance of the middle road. Enjoy!

It's been said that the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is today. When it comes to inner work, most adolescent men are left without a compass let a lone a map. They are often left to discover the importance of diving within much later in life.
My guest this week, Mike Danson, founded the program Uncivilized Teen, part of the Uncivilized Nation created by Traver Boehm. A space for young men to find brotherhood and providing them guidance to help them fin their path to become strong, emotionally healthy men.
In this episode, Mike dives into his life once he left the Marines, finding brotherhood and his purpose. I thoroughly enjoyed recording this episode and hope you enjoy it as well.
