In this edition of The Path Podcast Auk leads off with homework he has assigned himself to understand the forces that lead to CushCore feeling more supple even at the same pressure. Tani and Auk agree that it is not good to use Gorilla tape as rim tape, then talk about how to pick the best width when selecting rim tape. Tani was lucky to ride “hero dirt”  after the rain, which inspired a bit more confidence, a big bang and a harsh moment with Tani’s Flight Attendant. What is good dirt and how to time it after rain? The fellas talk about the philosophy of a middle way between riding too cautiously vs too recklessly.  Tani compares his e bike experience to a spin class he took. He thinks there are similarities. They bounce ideas around about feedback and incentives. News: There is an open job position for a full time content creator, and the bike shortage is over.
