His first experience in software design was creating a solution to a problem he experienced within his mortgage company. Our conversation started with the topic of how do sports agents work, and how are they beneficial to the actual athletes using them. After learning about Q's unique spin on the profession we took a deep dive into his works of helping less fortunate athletes get access to facilities and an education to help them off the field. With the conversation relevant at the time of the NIL legislation being passed, we also discuss what that will mean from an agents perspective, knowing they can start talking to athletes at a much earlier stage in life.

This week we sit down with Michael Hackett to discuss the ever evolving door that is entrepreneurship. Throughout his career he's gone from being raised in an entrepreneurial home where he worked for his parents' business to then deciding to go into business for himself. While making a career change after so many years can seem to be quite scary, Michael said the reason for the decision was to continue to remain true to himself and chasing what makes him happy. In his current work day he provides expertise to GMFS Mortgage, manages one of his franchise purchases with Main Squeeze and is involved with Clean Pelican by helping beautify the city one piece of garbage at a time.
