I often get asked this question before I'm even asked how I am doing as a person, which is hilarious to me; because although I'm married I'm still an individual. Going back in time to share some of the struggles I faced navigating through life as a young black woman in the UK, as an immigrant (illegal for the most part).

If you've been through this, then you'll know the struggle is real! Also touching on insecurities I struggled with from the darkness of my skin to hating my body and never feeling good enough. Not feeling 'black enough' at times, putting excessive pressure on myself to excel because I knew I had to do well in order to succeed in life. There's a few people I've mentioned who have been an integral part of my journey and my support throughout the years. Thinking of doing a part 2 but we'll see how this goes first.
