Artemis Fowl is a beloved book series full of fantastical adventures and an interesting protagonist (antagonist?) set in the rich fable-world of Irish folklore. This Disney adaptation is... none of those things. With COVID-19 still wreaking havoc upon movie releases and the cinema-going public, Artemis Fowl has hit our screens via the Disney+ app instead of the usual "blockbuster" premiere. We may have gotten a bit excited to see some new content because really, they could have let this one slide. Aremtis Fowl is available now through Disney+ and features some amazing actors and creative involvement including Colin Farrell, Dame Judy Dench and director, Sir Kenneth Branagh! But that's it. That's about as good as it gets.

Join Quinny, Dion, Jill and Bec as they try to unravel just what happened with this film, because the end result is... foul.

We reviewed Season 1 of Westworld in Episode 7 of the podcast, now 164 episodes later we are returning to Sweetwater to look back over Seasons 2 & 3. Then it's time for us to start our private A.I.s prognostication subroutines, asking it to look ahead into what Season 4 may hold for us. Have the intervening 4 years been kind to the HBO big budget Sci-Fi or have we seen a decline in quality that will see less violent delights and more underwhelming ends?

Our Hosts, Dion and Quinny are joined by by the wonderfully human Jill and Peta to discuss the ongoing saga of Dolores Abernathy, (Evan Rachel Wood), Maeve Millay (Thandie Newton) and the Theme-Park escapees that (unlike Jurassic Park) only want to make the world a better place.

Based on the 'Codename Villanelle' novellas by Luke Jennings, TV's Killing Eve burst onto the scene with a ripper first season written and executive-produced by Phoebe Waller Bridge (creator of 'Fleabag') with the next two seasons led by different female showrunners. The series follows a cat-and-mouse game of international intrigue, assassination and flirtation between the titular Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) and the enigmatic sociopathic mercenary Villanelle (Jodie Comer). It has now wrapped up its third season, with season four just announced!

Our producer Fel takes the wheel on this episode and drives it like she stole it, with both Peta and Quinny riding shotgun. The podcast leaves enough space for Quinny to remain unspoiled on the current season, whilst still giving enough depth to entice new viewers to this seductive series. In Apple+’s brand-new comedy/drama Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet, the audience is plunged into the chaotic middle of the AAA game studio behind the world’s biggest (if fictional) MMORPG. While the title makes it sound like a sequel, this is season 1, with a ‘Quarantine Special’ airing on Friday May 22nd and season 2 to come!

Our heroine is Poppy (Australia’s Charlotte Nicdao) the lead engineer desperately trying to not go as crazy as the rest of her workmates. #TPToA’s Non-playable characters (with limited dialogue options) Dion and Quinny are joined by the "Leeroy Jenkins" of reviewing teams in Felicity, Jill and Peta! Will they stick with the plan and successfully complete this raid on the comedic loot cave? Or will they Blue-Screen-of-Death halfway through?

We are also super excited to present a special guest interview with the one and only John Di Maggio as the ‘Easter egg’ for this podcast! John has a pivotal role in Mythic Quest and we're incredibly happy to be chatting with him again!

Upload is the new comedy science-fiction series on Amazon Prime from creator Greg Daniels ('Parks & Recreation', and the upcoming 'Space Force'). This bizarre satire of modern tech culture sees the consciousness of programmer Nathan Brown (Robbie Amell) digitised and "Uploaded" into the corporately owned, computer controlled afterlife of "Lakeview". There he meets and develops a friendship with his customer service "Angel" Nora (Andy Allo) and begins to unravel the meaning of both his death and his life.

Its a full server for this podcast review, with the possibly "Uploaded" Dion and Quinny joined by the definitely still alive Jill, Peta and Felicity. In Podcast 166 the robust existential discussions of the BIG philosophical questions raised in this show cheerfully sit alongside our usual brand of questionable humour, oh and there's even some listener feedback in there as well!
