It's a very special 250th episode spectacular that looks at a joke game that's successful both as a game, AND as a joke!
Hello everyone! On this episode, we talk about Days of Future Past, the second in the modern X-Men series. It's a damn good movie, and handles a pretty complicated time travel plot linking past and present franchises with almost no problems at all. Pretty amazing feat, to be honest. The movie was so long and the back half so complicated that we decided to split it into two separate episodes. Enjoy!

It was a fixture for kids 1992. Every issue of Nintendo Power didn't just bring far-too-optimistic coverage of the games available on Nintendo's hardware, but it also brought another installment of Link's adventures through Hyrule. Nintendo Power worked with Shotaro Ishinomori to bring the events of A Link to the Past to life... but the problem is, he didn't do a very good job. Attractive character design and coloring is cold comfort compared with the dorky script and bad pacing. Link is sleepy, and so are we!
Kole, Ben, Dennis, and Jala talk about some general E3 news, Realm Royale, and we do some free-play multiplayer cleanup.
The Brief:If you believe they put a man in the woods (man in the woods).
This week, Gary and Kole conjure up some mixed praise for Magicka, a student project turned indie darling. But here's the hangup: while the core idea of this game is unlike anything we've seen before, its execution falls flat at almost every turn. The writing and humor don't add much to the proceedings, and the game is still a technical mess seven years after its release.
So, yeah, the mixture leans pretty heavily toward the negative. Someone make a better game out of this core idea!
