The Pitch

AKA Hounds of the Baskervilles.

This week we play a fun game whose title is both a truth and a dare.

Hey everyone! We're still truckin' along in S5 of X-Men TAS. In this episode, we're going to cover Old Soldiers, where we learn the origin of Wolverine's claw fetish and meet Captain America. Right after that, we're going to get into Hidden Agendas, an extremely weird and bad episode that stars a fan favorite: Philologist’s Quarterly Magazine!

Kole, Ben, Dennis, and Jala talk about the Shrouded Isle, Amazon’s new move into gaming, and we ask you which modern indie games need cool instruction manuals.

• Amazon releases GameOn APIs.
• Sony class action deadline
• Nvidia is bringing in real-time ray tracing.
• Yakuza Kiwami 2 releases August 28.

• What modern indie game should get an old fashioned print manual?

• Ben: Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy.
• Jala: Fire Emblem: Awakening. Resident Evil 7. The Shrouded Isle.
• Dennis: Knack. Zombs Royale.
• Kole: Pokémon Picross.

Sometimes a hawk is just enough, you know?

Our discussion of Breath of the Wild continues as we talk about the main quest of the game, and its side quests. Special thanks again to John Hurst for being a guest on this episode, and for his continued support.
