Cryptic tweets from Diontae Johnson make it seem like the man wants paid. With other receivers in his draft class asking for more dough, the guys debated how much they would be comfortable paying Johnson. They shared any concern of Johnson sitting out until he gets the money.
Ray Fittipaldo from the Post Gazette joined the guys. Ray said the Steelers will likely take a defensive back in the first round and thinks it could be as early as 20th overall. Ray believes it will be a waiting game for Terrell Edmunds and the decision on him likely won’t be made until after the draft. He still likes defensive line in the opening round, whether it is Jordan Davis or Devonte Wyatt from Georgia. Ray referenced the mistake of the team letting the offensive line age out and worries the defensive line could go the same way if they don’t act on it seriously soon. He said he would go with Wyatt over Davis due to his versatility. Ray said he would not pay Diontae Johnson north of $20 million like he may be asking for.
