Aditi talked about some of the players on their way to Pittsburgh for visits, including Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton, who is one of the top players in the draft. Aditi also said which players may fit best with the Steelers as we sit 10 days away from draft night.

A Steelers insider said CJ Stroud from Ohio State would look good in a Steelers uniform. The guys debated if it would be smarter for the Steelers to punt on taking a QB in this draft and look to 2023 to fill the void of franchise quarterback.

Johnny said so far the quality of football seems to be OK out of the gate, but we’ll see how it holds up. He likes our guy, Kyle Lauletta, who is under center for the Maulers. Johnny said it’s more of a developmental feel than when the league came out in the 1980’s and attempted to be as good as the NFL.

Ray believes it will be a waiting game for Terrell Edmunds and the decision on him likely won’t be made until after the draft. He still likes defensive line in the opening round, whether it is Jordan Davis or Devonte Wyatt from Georgia. Ray referenced the mistake of the team letting the offensive line age out and worries the defensive line could go the same way if they don’t act on it seriously soon. He said he would go with Wyatt over Davis due to his versatility. Ray said he would not pay Diontae Johnson north of $20 million like he may be asking for.
