Jersey Jerry from Barstool Sports joined the show. Jerry joined the guys in-studio to continue his recruitment of Taylor Lewan to the Steelers. He said it started with the Arizona Bowl that was sponsored by Barstool Sports and a great lunch at 5 Guys. He said Lewan is the perfect guy for the job. He thinks a 1-year deal worth 8-10 million bucks would get the job done. Jerry doesn’t have much worry about TJ Watt not liking Lewan and he’ll understand that business is business. Jerry got dinner with Kenny Pickett last night and got some insight on the Steelers offense. He believes Kenny is the guy to rally the offense together and get it where it needs to be. Jerry talked about Kenny not getting the first team reps in camp, but said Kenny and Mitch Trubisky have an “amazing” relationship. He likes what he sees from Kenny in the 2-minute offense. He said Kenny hasn’t taken a day off since the season ended. Chris said Jerry could end up being the most important figure in the Steelers off-season. Jerry said he will be at the Pitt wrestling match tonight to promote college wrestling. He talked about his journey to Barstool and how he originally said No to Dave Portnoy. He got into how he became a Steelers fan as a kid, saying Troy Polamalu is his all-time favorite Steeler. Jerry shared his love for the Pardon My Take guys. He said his secret is never changing and always being himself. He told Poni he has too many outlandish tweets and gave him some advice on how to fix it.
