Hour one with Joe Starkey and Paul Zeise. The Pirates are a bigger deal than Steelers camp starting tomorrow, and they should be. If the Pirates can get to the playoffs, they will be major trouble. The Pirates are the talk of town and the pitching staff is relentless. The bullpen might be the best in baseball. Starkey makes the case that Ben Cherington is doing a decent job by acquiring Aroldis Chapman, signing Reynolds and Keller, and picking Paul Skenes over Dylan Crews. He's made a lot of mistakes too, but it's ok to be balanced.

Pat Narduzzi said at ACC media day that Pitt will play Penn State but Penn State won't play them. Narduzzi loves playing rivalry games and is thankful for West Virginia.

Michael wants to see Bart, Davis, and Endy all on the team and pointed to Endy as a great bat in the minors two years ago while playing 1st, 2nd, and the outfield as well as catcher. He expects Skenes to pitch similarly as Mitch Keller did Monday.

Derek Shelton stated that Ke'Bryan Hayes is healthy, but the back injury has a chance to continue to linger. Joey Bart is becoming a bigger part of the Pirates and could be here for a while. What does it mean for Henry Davis and Endy?

Shelton pointed to pitching as a big reason why the Pirates are on a hot streak but doing the little things right is the key reason. Shelton mentioned Bryan Reynolds and Nick Gonzales as clutch players. Shelton thinks Joey Bart could be here for a while and is earning it, but believes Henry Davis and Endy Rodriguez are big parts of the future and it takes more time for some players to figure it out.
