Pirates pre and post host Dan Zangrilli joined the show. Paul gives his ideal lineup for the Pirates on Friday. Nick Gonzales, Jake Lamb, and others should be here. The Pirates need to be more aggressive at the plate and Dan thinks it was starting to be shown last night. Dan is sticking with May 10 as when Paul Skenes will debut. 

Steelers insider Mark Kaboly of The Athletic joined the show. Mark doesn't know who the big receiver Bryant McFadden was alluding to and it might be a lesser-known guy. Kaboly loved the draft and the 'sure bets' of Troy Fautanu and Zach Frazier. Courtland Sutton is the most likely big name receiver the Steelers may trade for. 

John Perrotto believes Henry Davis will eventually become a DH. Oneil Cruz doesn't understand how to properly play baseball? 

John Perrotto of Pittsburgh Baseball Now joined the show.John thinks it would be appropriate for Paul Skenes to come up and pitch against a bad Colorado team as a good introduction to the league. Jack Suwinski shows flashes of being a good player, but the slumps he has leads to days like this when he's hitting .175. John feared this would happen with Andrew McCutchen where he isn't hitting and starting to reach the real conclusion to his career. He compared Oneil Cruz to... Gregory Polanco.

Starkey wants Bob Nutting to step in and fire Andy Haines. Who would you rather have: Paul Skenes or Jared Jones? Can the Browns win the AFC North? We all think the Steelers will in 10 games or more. 

Deion Sanders and family embarked on a Twitter war today with a former player. Poni has reported a DK Metcalf trade is not happening. Zeise thinks Brandon Aiyuk fits the Steelers better than Debo Samuel, but Starkey likes the weapon Samuel brings. Nashville stayed alive last night in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Hour 1 with Joe Starkey and Paul Zeise: The Pirates only had two hits against the A's in a 5-1 loss. It was as bad as it sounds and multiple double plays to end potential rallies. They lead the league striking out looking. Joe calls on Bob Nutting to step in and force a change at hitting coach and Andy Haines has to go. Starkey wants him to be like Art Rooney did and step in to get rid of Haines like Matt Canada. It's time for Nick Gonzales, Liover Peguero, and Ji Hwan Bae to come to the majors.
