College football is expanding the playoffs, but 14 teams is now being rumored. It's becoming half the top 25 in the tournament. Players will be playing 17 games if they make the championship! Paul thinks it's wild. Paul thinks Incrinculently.

The Penguins have won three in a row. Could Kyle Dubas stand pat at the trade deadline? Unless the Pens are willing to trade stars, the roster is not going to significantly change.

John Perrotto of Pittsburgh Sports Now joined the show. John is excited to see Paul Skenes make his spring training debut. His status is significant dating Livvy Dunne and being one of the best pitching prospects in years. John doesn't think Skenes will be overworked this season and could see 160 innings. The Athletic's Jim Bowden thinks Skenes will be up in September, but we all think before that, with around the All-Star break the latest.  John would bat Ke'Bryan Hayes leadoff, then Bryan Reynolds second. Cruz third, Suwinski fourth. He thinks Henry Davis will be in Indianapolis.

Paul Skenes pitches today for the Pirates. We discussed the flare for the dramatic with Skenes and the pressure the Pirates are under for him to be a star. Zeise is ok with Skenes coming up in June with his projection that the Pirates will have him on an innings cap. We give our ideal starting 9.

Joe wants a young guy on defense at linebacker or secondary to become a focal point. We go over mock drafts and top quarterbacks. Paul doesn't think Caleb Williams is a superstar.

Paul Zeise joins the show. We discuss golf courses we'd want to play and also if golf is shifting to a more football-like atmosphere. NFL mock drafts are addicting. It's easy to read them and react.

The Steelers quarterback controversy is all anyone is talking about. Steelers broadcaster Bill Hillgrove has retired after 30 years. He will remain calling Pitt football games on 93.7 The Fan. We rate quarterback options as a backup to Kenny Pickett, or a starter, on a scale of 1-5.
