Hour 3 with Joe Starkey: Pirates analyst Michael McKenry joined the show. The Endy Rodriguez injury and having Tommy John is huge for the Bucs behind the plate. Two of the biggest questions entering the season: can Henry Davis catch and when will we see Paul Skenes? Michael thinks the signing of Grandal has pushed Davis back to Triple-A, but still has every opportunity to be on the team in spring. Offensively he's ready, but defensively is where the issues are. Michael doesn't think we will see Paul Skenes until at least May. Oneil Cruz is going to need to slide and get better at fundamentals. Aroldis Chapman could get traded at the deadline but is going to be nice seeing him bolster the bullpen. Chief Steelers insider Mark Kaboly joined the show. Mark thought Mitch Trubisky would be back, but the loss in Indianapolis showed his career in Pittsburgh is over. If Russell Wilson or Justin Fields is brought in, the Pickett era is over. Mason Rudolph is the only real competition where Pickett and Rudolph can coexist for Kaboly. If the Steelers trade for Fields, who Brad Spielberger would command a second and fifth rounder, you have to pick up his 5th-year option. Two draft picks and $22 million next season is a flip of the coin for Mark.
