Your nature state is radiant, luminous, pure Being and when you are fully present in the Now this radiance emanates effortlessly. There is no experience or emotion that can affect your nature state, but if a thought which resists any experience or emotion is identified with, suffering is born. If thoughts are simply observed, without being fed attention, peace becomes the constant, natural state.

The core recognition which brings the end to suffering is the realization that 'I' refers to the aware witness (pure consciousness) and the 'I' which mental stories revolve around is not only not who I am, but actually does not even exist outside of imagination.
