Allowing oneself to be vulnerable with another person can be exceedingly difficult yet rewarding as it leads to more closeness and intimacy.  Can asking another person a structured set of questions really help two people deepen closeness and boost intimacy or fall in love?  We are exploring the famous 36 questions to fall in love experiment. The so-called 36 questions to fall in love are a set of questions developed in the 1990s by psychologists Arthur Aron, Ph.D., Elaine Aron, Ph.D., and other researchers to see if two strangers can develop an intimate connection just from asking each other a series of increasingly personal questions. The 36 questions in the study are broken up into three sets, with each set intended to be more probing than the previous one. If you are looking to strengthen your relationship with your spouse, deepen your connection with your friend or romantic partner, reconnect emotionally with someone, fall in love with someone new, boost intimacy and closeness give the 36 questions a try.  Remember, vulnerability is not weakness.
