The Prayer Podcast Library

This powerful chaplet was revealed to Antonia d'Astonac in a vision by Saint Michael. The prayers salute the nine choirs of angels and ask for their intercession to our Lord on our behalf. Sacred Scripture distinguishes nine such groupings: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Powers, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels and Angels (Isa. 6: 2; Gen. 3: 24; Col. 1: 16; Eph. 1: 21; Rom. 8: 38). The protection of God's holy angels is most needed in today's world. May His Will allow them to come to our aid. May the promise of the assistance of the nine choirs be true as we approach Holy Communion and be allowed deliverance from purgatory after death.

Prayer for Mental Healing

Good Saint Dymphna, great wonder-worker in every affliction of mind and body, I humbly implore your powerful intercession with Jesus through Mary, the Health of the Sick, in my present need. (Mention your intention.) Saint Dymphna, martyr of purity, patroness of those who suffer with nervous and mental afflictions, beloved child of Jesus and Mary, pray to Them for me and obtain my request.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,  Hallowed be Thy Name.  Thy Kingdom come.  Thy Will be done,  on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses,  as we forgive those who trespass against us.  And lead us not into temptation,  but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary full of Grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Saint Dymphna, Virgin and Martyr, pray for us.

Amen.

Prayer for the Sick

God our Father, Your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness. Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brother/sister. May all who suffer pain, illness, or disease realize that they have been chosen to be saints and know that they are joined to Christ in His suffering for the salvation of the world.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Meditation on Joy

"If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love,  just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."  -John 15:10-11 Prayer: Lord Jesus, You have created for me a life full of triumph and tribulation. Help me to learn from each and every experience, for all things happen for a reason, and all things happen according to Your almighty plan. In all humbleness, please bless me with a state of happiness; accepting with a smile all that you send into my life. For I know that my happiness pleases you, O Lord, and brings me closer to the joys of heaven. I ask this in the name of Jesus, whose love reigns forever. Amen.  Meditation: Act in such a way that all those who come in contact with you will go away joyful...Go through life like a little child, always trusting, always full of simplicity and humility, content with everything, happy in every circumstance. There, where others fear, you will pass calmly along, thanks to this simplicity and humility.  -St. Faustina Kowalska

COVID-19 Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, our Divine Physician, we ask you to guard and protect us from COVID-19 and all serious illness. For all that have died from it, have mercy; for those that are ill now, bring healing. For those searching for a remedy, enlighten them; for medical caregivers helping the sick, strengthen and shield them. For those working to contain the spread, grant them success; for the afraid, grant peace. May Your precious blood be our defense and salvation. By Your grace, may You turn the evil of disease into moments of consolation and hope. May we always fear the contagion of sin more than any illness. We abandon ourselves to Your infinite mercy.

Amen.
